Travelling to Belfast for the Fleadh is straightforward, with several options available.
By Train
Cross border rail services between Dublin Connolly Station and Belfast Grand Central Station run hourly. Travel times are approximately 2 hours, 10 minutes. For more details, visit www.translink.co.uk.

By Bus/Coach
Several options are available between Dublin and Belfast, with connections from all major towns and cities across the island of Ireland. Bus Éireann and Translink offer regular cross-border bus services.
Dublin to Belfast: This is the most frequent route, with multiple daily departures. Travel time is about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Cork to Belfast: Travel time is approximately 5-6 hours with a transfer in Dublin.
Limerick to Belfast: Travel time is approximately 4-5 hours with a transfer in Dublin.
Aircoach and Dublin Express also provide frequent services between Dublin and Belfast offering city centre stops.
By Car
Belfast is a small, compact city that is easily walkable, so you may wish to leave the car at home. Driving from the Republic of Ireland to Belfast remains a popular choice for many, particularly for those looking for flexibility in terms of schedule and route.
From Dublin: Around 2 hours (about 160 km / 100 miles).
From Cork: Approximately 5 hours (around 420 km / 220 miles).
From Galway: Approximately 4 hours (around 210 km / 370 miles).
There are several public carparks located throughout Belfast. Further information on carparking, EV charging stations and Park & Ride facilities during the Fleadh will be published in the coming months.
By Sea and Air
Belfast is easily accessed by sea with crossings from both Scotland and England with journey times from just 2 hours 15 minutes.
For International visitors, Belfast has two main airports.
Belfast International Airport is 20 miles from the city. Tickets for the 300-bus service into the city can be purchased from the Tourist Information desk on arrival or at the self-serve kiosk at the bus stop.
George Best Belfast City Airport is located just 3 miles from the city centre and the 600-bus service operates from outside the terminal.
