Lane To The Glen: This album is a classic combination of fiddle, button accordion and piano from Sligo’s Oisín Mac Diarmada (fiddle), Daithí Gormley (accordion) and Samantha Harvey (piano).
A graduate in Music Education from Trinity College Dublin, Oisín Mac Diarmada began playing fiddle in Clare, before moving to Sligo at a young age and developing a deep interest in the playing style of the Sligo region. Founder of the internationally renowned group Téada in 2001.
Daithí Gormley is widely regarded as one of the finest button accordion players of his generation. Steeped in the rich musical heritage of his native county Sligo his, remarkably accomplished, debut album ‘Fiddling without a Bow – Irish Traditional Music on Button Accordion’ brought an expressive mix of old and new tunes played with an attention to detail conduit to past masters of Irish traditional music.
Samantha Harvey originally from Ventura, California now living in Sligo, is an award-winning step dancer and piano player. Samantha’s trademark energetic performances have seen her become a prominent touring performer and teacher.
Epiphany

In June 2024 she released her remarkably accomplished, debut album ‘Epiphany – Irish Traditional Music on the Tenor Banjo’ bringing an expressive mix of old and new tunes played with an attention to detail conduit to past masters of Irish traditional music.
‘This is a great album of Irish traditional music played on tenor banjo by one of the outstanding young exponents. Every track offers you a glimpse of Elaine’s interpretation and understanding of the tradition. She is true to that tradition all the way yet puts her own definite stamp on every tune.
