Waterfront Hall
Close to the ICC, Waterfront Hall is renowned for its world-class acoustics and large-scale performances. It will host major Fleadh competitions and performances in another impressive riverside setting including the Senior Céilí Band Competition on the final Sunday, 9 August 2026.

Ulster University – Belfast Campus
Ulster University Belfast offers modern, state-of-the-art facilities in the heart of the artistic and cultural centre of the city’s Cathedral Quarter. The new Belfast campus, one of the largest higher education capital builds in Europe, provides purpose-built active learning spaces including lecture theatres, specialist studios and social settings. During the Fleadh, it will be the ideal host for Scoil Eigse.

2 Royal Avenue is a community and cultural hub that provides a free creative space in the heart of the city centre. Vacant since 2000, Assembly Rooms is a Grade B1 listed building on the corner of North Street and Waring Street. It dates back to 1769 and is one of Belfast’s most prominent and architecturally important heritage buildings.

Belfast Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral Church of St. Anne, has stood for over 100 years as a place of Christian worship in the heart of Belfast. The foundation stone of the Cathedral was laid in 1899 and the building itself, Romanesque in style, continued to grow over the years.

Clifton House
Clifton House is an impressive Georgian building, set in tranquil landscaped gardens in the heart of Belfast. Opened in 1774 by Belfast Charitable Society, the building was the original Poor House in Belfast. For over a century it was used as a nursing home and hospital for older people.
Donegall Quay (Big Fish)
This 10m (32ft) salmon sculpture was commissioned in 1999 to celebrate the regeneration of the River Lagan and the historic importance of the site. It was created by John Kindness, and the most interesting thing about this fish are its beautiful blue scales, which are made up of ceramic tiles describing different scenes from the city's history.
Golden Thread Gallery
Golden Thread Gallery is a beautifully renovated and restored heritage building in the heart of Belfast’s city centre. Set across two floors, it includes two large galleries, a projection room, a community participation and engagement hub, and Northern Ireland’s first visual art library and archive.
Grand Opera House
The Grand Opera House boasts the majestic Victorian main auditorium designed by Frank Matcham, the intimate Baby Grand studio, a 100-seat theatre space, and three bars. St George's Market
St George’s Market was built between 1890 and 1896. The market has won local and national titles and awards for its fresh, local produce and great atmosphere. It was named the UK's Best Large Indoor Market 2023 by the NABMA Great British Market Awards. St George's Market is open Friday to Sunday, with its live music and an electric atmosphere, it’s a good weekend destination.
St Joseph's Church
St Joseph’s is a space for all the community in the heart of Belfast Docks. It has recently undergone a programme of repairs to rescue it from near dereliction. Now open for meanwhile use it is working towards fully restoring this Grade B+ listed building to bring it back to its former glory.
The Belfast Barge
The Belfast Barge is Northern Ireland’s only floating Arts Centre. Moored on the River Lagan at Lanyon Quay, we are owned by the not-for-profit charity Lagan Legacy.
The Black Box
