We’re back and ready to break another Guinness world record! 

Last year, we made history with the most tin whistles played at once and now, we’re turning up the volume. This year, we are going to attempt to break the record for the largest céilí band ever assembled and we want you in the line-up!

During Comhaltas Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2024 we set a Guinness World Record for the largest group playing tin whistles together over a 5-minute period. 2,516 musicians was the official record number on the day.

Following on from the success of 2024 we have decided to try for a second record in 2025!

This year’s attempt will be for the largest Céilí Band playing together ever. The current Céilí Band Guinness World Record was set in Croke Park in March 2024 with 386 participants.

The 2025 attempt will place at Chadwicks Wexford Park GAA grounds, Y35 RT91, on Thursday 7^th August 2025, during Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann week. Gates open at 4pm where you will receive your wristband at a dedicated entry gate.
