Briste developed towards the end of 2015, although the girls; Emma, Joanna and Alison have been playing traditional music together from a very young age. They are known widely throughout Ireland with an exceptional talent and have been extremely lucky to hold many Ulster and All Ireland medals. As well as being traditional musicians, Briste love to branch out into different genres for example, folk and American Country. Joanna and Emma have been playing professionally with Síoda for almost five years. Likewise, Emma and Alison have been a part of the PJ McDonald Band. Both together and separately, the girls have played in various concert halls, venues and sessions all over the world and have decided to form the trio to a combine a mixture of sounds they have acquired over the years and together and have exciting plans for the future ahead.
