The Big Banjo Bash will take place on Friday 11th August at 12.30pm on Dominick Square Mullingar – a celebration in memory of the great Banjo Tutor Noel Kilkenny
Noel passed away in December 2022 and is a musical legacy, unmatched in Irish tenor banjo teaching. Noel was a very accomplished player himself and he excelled as a teacher of the instrument. He taught countless young musicians in the west of Ireland, nurturing their talents as only he could.
We are inviting all Banjo Players from all corners of the globe to come along and join in on the world’s largest gathering of Traditional Irish Banjo players. Bígí Linn!
