The Raw Bar Collective

With a refreshingly uncluttered approach to playing, the Raw Bar Collective presents a vibrant and excitingly earthy style of Irish Traditional music. The Raw Bar Collective is a rare gathering of Irish musicians, each of them an acknowledged standard bearer within the tradition.

The band members Conal Ó Gráda on flute, Benny McCarthy on accordion & Dave Sheridan on fiddle, are all long recognised as among the top instrumentalists in Ireland, sean nós singer Nell Ní Chróinín is commonly acknowledged as the most exciting traditional singing talent of her generation and Colm Murphy on bodhrán, is widely recognised as one of the top Traditional music percussionists of all time.

Des Dillon

Des Dillon is a multi-talented visual artist who works across multiple art forms. He has worked with D'Unbelieveables, Siamsa Tíre and his own show Taca Blac. His most recent traditional music collaboration was with life-sized puppet Peigí, who drew an exuberant response from the Late Late Show audience on RTE 1 TV. For this show Des will debut a colourful team of set dancing puppets, the likes of which have never been seen before.
